Multi-discipline Global Team Management
Improving the experience through UX Strategy

I am a Senior UX Professional who has gained vast experience across all levels, including leading design strategy, key UX functions and managing multi-discipline global teams during the provision of change and transformation through the use of design.

At management level I have had significant impact on individuals and teams development, while helping businesses improve product offering through user centered methodologies and techniques. I thrive on  collaborating with product owners and users to build products that make a difference.

I have also been very honoured to win some awards along the way

Leadership

Working as a design leader for several years, helping teams to evolve. As a manager I have seen how important it is to develop both ux and personal skills, while creating an environment for everyone to be the best they can, while at the same time having a huge impact on business growth.

We all have a unique style, and I believe putting people first is an absolute key, fostering an open and positive environment. Mentorship is key, and must be tailored to individuals needs.

Strategy

Working in a strategic capacity as part of a central UX function. Collaborating with design leaders across all the Marketplaces to provide design expertise and guidance.

It is a unique position to be in, as you are able to have a bigger impact, leading projects that will improve many teams’ ability and thereby business growth. Always a focus on the customer and working with stakeholders to find the right balance between the user and the business goals.

Design

Design is the ability to turn an experience into something unforgettable and meaningful. Over many years I have been privileged to work with some amazing companies and teams, creating award winning solutions for both print and digital, ranging from creative art direction to building digital solutions with customer data driven insights.

II have attended many design conferences to keep up to date with the latest design and technological trends and innovation.

What do they all say…

Frederic Hammouche
2018 Schibsted
Fellow design colleague

“I really enjoyed working together with Henry at Schibsted, where he worked as head of UX and was my manager. In every aspect of his work, Henry shows the highest level of professionalism, dedication and creativity. He was always inspiring with vision and ideas, injecting enthusiasm into the whole team. He fosters excellent communication and works hard, day in and day out, to ensure real team collaboration. I would happily work with Henry again and highly recommend him to any team!”

Lee Ward
2015 PayPal UX writer,
fellow design colleague

“I could write a small novel about how much fun it is working with Henry: how much energy and enthusiasm, how much insight and empathy he brings to everything he does. I could bang on about his rich and seemingly depthless skills as a designer; about his desire and capacity to keep learning and keep growing; about his ruthless customer-focus and dedication to walking in the customer’s shoes every day. But I’ll just say that Henry is one of the most positive-minded people you’re ever likely to meet who will not just raise the level of accomplishment on your team sky-high but also raise their spirits at the same time. Hire this man.”

Harith Alanbari
2015 PayPal
Product Manager, Paris

“I worked with Henry on designing a very innovative payment solution for the Russian market, and I'd like to warmly recommend him for what he achieved. Firstly, Henry delivered a pioneering and differentiating user experience that went far beyond web design. His delivery was all about making the holistic customer journey truly delightful in unexpected ways, with details covering the delivery experience at home, customer service calls, as well as a whole range of creative service discovery techniques at each customer touch point. Moreover, in terms of working style, Henry was very enthusiastic and brought a lot of positive energy to the team. He’s also a good communicator that can get his points across clearly (and who's also very fun to have on the team!). Finally, Henry ramped up very quickly on what is a very complex subject and was able to get his hands dirty in no time. It was a pleasure to work with him”
